The double exhibition ‘Des Lieux et des Hommes’ finally opened on Thursday in an event that brought together a large group of dignitaries and representatives of the art world.

Twenty-three paintings and six small sculptures will remain on display until 18 November.

The six large bronze sculptures that are on show in the Place du Louvre will remain there under the Paris sky until 3 January and ‘are the reflection of man, his joys and his sorrows, his battles and his victories’ according to Susana Álvarez, wife of the sculptor and curator of the exhibition.
